I’m exhausted. Today, I only attended one talk by Yuji Kodama on hydrodynamic hierarchies. I hadn’t really heard about these types of hierarchies before this talk. While I couldn’t really follow the entire talk, I did take away a few references.

In his talk, Yuji described generalized hierarchies that seem similar to some of the ideas I’ve been toying around with for the water-wave problem.  It looks like there might be a connection here.  Definitely need to read a bit more, and consider how this will tie into these AFM hierarchies I’ve been thinking about.
